A great gift and a good read:
When Life Hand You Alzheimer's, Make Aprons!

Victoria's now has in stock the great book by Gwen O'Leary, When Life Hands You Alzheimer's, Make Aprons, the story of her mother's last months struggling with the debilitating disease. Despite everything, Gwen and her sister found that the one thing they could still connect to their mother with was sewing aprons! Whether or not your life has somehow been affected by Alzheimer's, this truthful and warm story is about the reality of growing older and the healing aspects of the arts.
Stop in and pick up your copy today!

And come in to learn to make the
Four Corners Apron

W
e also have the pattern here at Victoria's- a simple, reversible apron. Considering our colorful variety of fabrics, you can have a lot of fun with this!

A copy of the book and a handmade apron would make a great, heartfelt gift!

Call to set up a class or for more information.

The Apron of the Month Club!

The holidays are coming up and Aprons make a great gift. Kwik Sew is doing a great job of keeping up with apron fashions, and best of all they are fun and easy to make. So, with Patty's help there is going to be a different apron to do every month!

I've organized the apron club just a little bit differently-
You can participate in one of three different ways, or all three, or two, it's up to you!
Here's how it is being offered:

1. Take the class for $36.95 and this includes the precut kit.

2. Buy the pattern and selected premeasured fabrics, the cost of this will vary due to the fact that the patterns are different prices and the fabric requirements are all different.

3. The completed, finished aprons will be available in extremely limited quantities for purchase at a cost of $42.95

The best part is that we can schedule a time to work on this when it's best for you. Just give us a call and we can schedule a class!

CLASSES
Please note that we now require that all kits and classes be prepaid.

Quilts for Charities

We like to get together with our scrap fabrics and put together quilts that we can donate to people who need them! We give the charity the quilt OR we sell the quilt for $50 and that money goes directly to the charity. Some simple and beautiful quilts have come out of this endeavor. If you'd like to join us in giving back to others, please call to find out more information!

The Kaleidoscope Quilt

We are offering two versions of a Kaleidoscope quilt. Boy, are these things addicting! I just couldn't stop putting the blocks together! Every one turned out so totally different. You need to see them to believe it.

Please come in and get your fabric picked out and paid for so it can all be measured, ready to stack, pin and cut.

Sampler Quilt- Block of the Month

This is not a quilt for the faint of heart! But, by doing a block a month, you have plenty of time to tackle even the most challenging blocks.
The precut squares will be ready the 4th Saturday of the month for a fee of $5.00.

If you want to do this you will need to come in and pay in advance for the block and choose one of the three color ways you would like to do. Each month you will pay in advance for the next months block. There are twelve blocks in all. Once we get to the sashing and the quilt assembly I will have the sashing and corner stones available and will schedule a class for finishing the quilts.

The colors are--- red, orange, yellow and white (shown above)
Aqua, light brown, pale orange and off white
Burgundy, teal, gold and ecru

Please come in and see the color choices each set will make an out standing quilt!
